On April 25, 2025, students from our Faculty’s Department of Finance visited the Afyonkarahisar Provincial Directorate of Treasury and Finance as part of the seminar titled “On-Site Training on the Restructuring of the Revenue Administration.”
The visit was attended by 40 students, accompanied by the Vice Chairs of the Department of Finance, Asst. Prof. Dr. Pınar Bengi Kaya and Asst. Prof. Dr. Neslihan Karakuş Büyükben, along with department faculty members Asst. Prof. Dr. Merve Malak and Research Assistant İshak Altunışık.
As part of the program, Acting Provincial Treasurer İbrahim Gündüz delivered a presentation on “The Organizational Structure of the Ministry of Treasury and Finance and the Revenue Administration.” Following the presentation, the units of the Directorate were introduced, and students were provided with detailed information about the duties and responsibilities of each unit.
Through this event, our students had the opportunity to reinforce their theoretical knowledge with practical observations and gained valuable insights into public finance practices.
