On 3 December 2025, our faculty member Assoc. Prof. Volkan Göçoğlu delivered an experience-sharing session titled “Publishing International Books with Springer Nature: Insights, Gains, and Practical Tips” for the academic staff of our faculty.
The session was attended by our Dean Prof. Dr. Gökhan Demirtaş, Vice Deans Asst. Prof. Dr. Hale Fulya Kaya and Asst. Prof. Dr. Ali Balkı. In addition, the University Scientific Publications Coordinator Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmet Ayhan Koyuncu, along with Assistant Coordinators Assoc. Prof. Dr. Can Başaran and Asst. Prof. Dr. Mustafa Yasin Akbaş, participated in the event.
During the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Göçoğlu shared insights from his international book projects with Springer Nature, discussing the stages of the publishing process, author–editor relations, crucial considerations in international academic publishing, and key recommendations for early-career researchers. He also provided detailed reflections on strategies for enhancing global academic visibility, publication ethics, and the importance of interdisciplinary collaboration.
The event, which received strong interest from our faculty members, concluded with a Q&A session, offering participants practical and guiding perspectives on the international publishing process.
