A webinar titled “Your European Career Plan: CV Tips & Education Path in the Netherlands” was organized by the English Business Administration Program of our Faculty. The event, streamed online from the İİBF Sabri Bektöre Conference Hall, featured Gökçe Gültekin, Career Consultant at Hollaminds Coaching & Consultancy, as the guest speaker.
The program was attended by İİBF Vice Dean Asst. Prof. Dr. Hale Fulya Kaya, Vice Chairs of the Business Administration Department Asst. Prof. Dr. Arif Arifoğlu and Asst. Prof. Dr. Mücahid Yıldırım, academic staff of the English Business Administration Program, students, and international participants.
During her talk, Gültekin shared that she worked in the field of human resources for 7 years in Türkiye before moving to the Netherlands in 2018. She noted that she completed her Psychology undergraduate degree with honors at the University of Groningen, and highlighted her professional experience in the HR departments of major international companies such as Tesla and Swisscom. She also discussed her observations regarding the European labor market.
The webinar covered topics including European-style CV preparation techniques, the role of social media platforms (LinkedIn and Instagram) in recruitment processes, and education, internship, and employment opportunities in the Netherlands.
The event concluded with a Q&A session, followed by closing remarks and a message of appreciation to the speaker by İİBF Vice Dean Asst. Prof. Dr. Hale Fulya Kaya.
