A conference titled “Participation Banking and Career” was organized through the collaboration of the Department of Business Administration of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at Afyon Kocatepe University (AKU) and the Entrepreneurship and Career Community (GİKAT).
The conference, held at the Prof. Dr. Sabri Bektöre Conference Hall, was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Prof. Dr. Gökhan Demirtaş, along with academic staff and students.
During the event, Etem Meral, Branch Manager of Kuveyt Türk Afyonkarahisar, and Mehmet Selman Koçak, Individual Sales Specialist at Kuveyt Türk Afyonkarahisar, shared their insights on the participation banking system, career opportunities in the financial sector, and recommendations for students’ professional development.
The speakers also emphasized the importance of learning foreign languages, following experts in the field to gain broader perspectives, and actively participating in student communities to expand professional networks.
The conference concluded with a question-and-answer session.
